Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I use any photo of my pet? A: Yes. High-resolution photos taken in good lighting produce the crispest, most vibrant results. If you are unsure about photo quality, simply upload your chosen photo and our workshop team will inspect it during the SMS proofing process.
Q: Are photo slate stones suitable for outdoor placement? A: Photo slate keepsakes are designed specifically for indoor display (on a mantel, shelf, desk, or memory table). Sublimation photo prints should be kept indoors to protect the artwork from harsh long-term outdoor UV sunlight and moisture. For outdoor garden memorials, we recommend our marine-grade stainless steel range.
Q: Do display stands come included with the slate? A: Yes. Every heart-shaped photo slate includes sturdy display feet, allowing you to set up your keepsake on any flat surface right out of the box.
Q: Will every slate stone look identical? A: No. Because slate is a natural stone product with hand-chiseled edges, the cut and texture of every single heart slate is completely unique.
