Today would be your ninth birthday. It only seems like yesterday that you came from the place of silence to meet me and everyone in the room with stillness. When I block out the noise of life, you sit quietly beside me and I can feel your presence with me, guiding me and helping me reconnect with what matters. Your silent presence fills me with light, love, and reassurance. If there is a God, you are his conduit to remind me how to be with the ever-present energy beyond the masks of what we see manifest. Happy birthday, Ella. Love, Daddy.
